Sub-stages
01Process Overview
Drying and finishing is where functional performance is added, enhanced, and locked into the nonwoven structure. Neo Engenior engineers drying, coating, laminating, calendering, and surface-treatment lines that extend the performance envelope of the base nonwoven — adding barrier properties, aesthetic qualities, and specialized functional characteristics required by demanding end markets.
02Technical Approach
Our coating systems cover foam, knife-over-roll, rotary screen, and slot-die configurations, enabling precise coating weight control for liquid repellency, adhesive application, and specialty functional treatments. Lamination platforms integrate inline with bonding or run as standalone converting operations, covering thermal, pressure-sensitive, and solvent-based adhesive systems.
03Performance Engineering
Calendering systems from Neo Engenior are engineered for precise nip pressure and temperature management, enabling smooth-surface production, embossing, and through-calender compaction. Surface treatment platforms — including plasma, corona, and chemical finishing — complete the line capability for wettability, dye uptake, and antimicrobial treatment requirements.
Capabilities
- Precision coating systems for foam, knife, and slot-die applications
- Inline and standalone lamination with multi-layer construction capability
- Engraved and smooth-roll calendering from soft-touch to paper-like surfaces
- Plasma and corona treatment for hydrophilic and barrier surface modification
